Standard Dr. Goos-Suprema X-Ray garments with "SupraNorm" leadrubber
material.![]() With the new "light lead material" SupraLight a few years ago we obtained an enormous weight reduction of our X-ray protection garments. This SupraLight material made our aprons lighter and more comfortable with appr. 20% less than SupraNorm. ![]() SupraSine is a new "brand" for leadless X-ray material. Our X-ray protection garments made of lead rubber are well known since years because of its comfort, fashion, clean fabrication and by using best raw materials. We are endeavered to make the permanent progress available to our customers. Environment To conserve the world around us and the existing resources for the following generations is our most important concern. The production of X-ray protection garments with SupraSine has following advantages: • no environmental impact • no toxical effect • fully poisonless • recycling without reservation • avoidance of noxious substances • no groundwater loading by dumping garbage • reduction of hazardous material during production Security Most important for us is the security of our clients. It goes without saying that the protection or reduction factor of the new SupraSine material is the same as our previous lead rubber material and this is attested by tests and measuring results. The new material is tested acc. to PSA 89/686/EWG and certified by CE 0123. Material Progress Research, development and tests made it possible to produce a new material for our X-ray protection garments. Flexibility and comfort are preserved. The hitherto used lead rubber material was produced by using lead oxide powder. Now by using tin grain of high purity we obtained a leadless material SupraSine. This physiological quality is poisonless in opposition to lead and is recoverable by thermal smelting. A further basic material is caoutchouc. Thus guarantees that during production of SupraSine no problematic odds and ends will arise. |
